With the introduction of competency-based medical education (CBME), emerging technologies, evolving learner expectations, and the growing emphasis on professionalism, ethics, and patient-centred care, the role of a medical educator has never been more dynamic or more critical. At this crucial juncture, it becomes essential to create a platform where educators from diverse disciplines can collaborate, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of medical training. It is with this vision that the Interdisciplinary Association of Medical Educationists (IAME) has been established.

Objectives
IAME strives to create sustained impact through the following objectives:
1. Promoting Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Encouraging innovative pedagogy, learner-centred methods, and evidence-based educational strategies aligned with CBME and global best practices.
2. Capacity-Building for Educators: Offering workshops, master classes, and certificate programs on curriculum design, assessment methods, feedback skills, mentorship, simulation, and educational leadership.
3. Interdisciplinary Dialogue: Bringing together professionals from multiple health disciplines to share ideas, challenges, and solutions to common educational issues.
4. Educational Research and Scholarship: Supporting scholarly work in medical education by providing guidance, peer collaboration, and opportunities to publish and present research.
5. Policy and Curriculum Advocacy: Engaging with regulatory bodies, institutions, and academic councils to contribute to improvements in educational standards and policies.
6. Leadership Development: Preparing the next generation of educational leaders who can drive institutional reforms and innovate in teaching and learning.
